The Georgia State Association of Power Engineers, Inc, is an
organization composed of licensed stationary engineers.
We strive to advance the knowledge and skill of this vocation through training and technical
education. We do this by providing a standard of exams and licenses that
qualified engineers may apply for, and by offering formal training in a
classroom setting. .
The Next Georgia State Association of
Power Engineers members meeting is scheduled for October 28th 2023.

The Exam starts at 8:00 am and ends at noon.
The license renewal fee is $25 Annually. All licenses expire at the end
of each year, Dec. 31. You *(MUST)* mail in your past years
renewal certificate or a copy of your license with the check made out to GSAPE in order to renew your
license. (Note: See the "exams & licenses" page for renewal and expiration rules)
(Retired "and not working" engineers 65 years and older or any
engineer retired for medical reasons will not require a renewal fee.
Please notify the board by mail.)

"LATE RENEWALS"
1) If you have not renewed for 5 or more years your license is no longer valid and you will need to retest.
2) The first time you are late renewing, a one time late fee and the cost for each year missed, up to 5 years, is due.
3) The second time you are late renewing, the late fee and the renewal fee for each year missed, up to 3 years, is due.
4) If you are late a third time your license will no longer be valid and you will be requied to take the exams again.
